Karen is always willing to help her teammates and provides great energy to the team. Thank you for all you do!

What is your role at TCPC/TCSC?

I am a Registered Nurse at Twin Cities Surgery Center and I provide direct care to people living in pain who wish to seek a better quality of life via surgical or procedural interventions. Ensuring the safely and comfort of our patients is the primary role of all registered nurses in our facility.

How long have you been with TCSC?

Two months and counting.

What are some of your hobbies?

I love to go, go, go! My favorite thing to do is to take in some live music and good food. My husband and I love all genres: jazz, funk, punk, ska... we're in! I also have fun taking my 12 year old step-son to historical sites and museums. He's a great travel companion. Loren and LeHandra round out the family and I am happy to report will be turning me into a grandmother for the first time come December!

What is your favorite thing about working at TCSC?

My favorite thing is the exceptional care that the physicians, nurses, radiologic technologists, and front desk administrators provide our patients and each other. This is clearly a team that is passionate about what we do, and I love being part of that!
